We understand there is caution in taking actions, that you worry increase the risk of transmitting Covid-19 virus. Here is the guidance from the Scottish Government department responsible for food safety and food standards.

“There is currently no evidence that food or food packaging is a source or vehicle of transmission for COVID-19 virus.

The most important actions you can take for preventing the spread of COVID-19 are to ensure physical distancing between staff, customers and other visitors, and to strengthen hygiene practices including handwashing and cleaning and disinfection across all areas of your business.”

By choosing to use a reusable bottle and cup instead of choosing a single use bottle and cup you are making a positive difference.

By choosing to use only the single use items; serviettes, straws, stirrers, sachets that you need you are making a positive difference.

Without these actions there will continue to be 7 million cups and 16 million bottles  going to landfill or littering our landscapes and waterways each day in UK.
